I grew up in Jackson Mississippi, completed my college at Mississippi College where I studied premedical sciences and met the love of my wife Dr. Eden Yelverton. I then continued my training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and married Eden. We then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to complete my surgical training  and had our first child, Archer, and came back to Mississippi to do private practice for a few years. Here we began our journey of medicine outside of training and had our second child, Dakota. Through a collection of experiences, I felt God calling me and my family elsewhere and we followed Him to Lakewood Ranch Florida where he began a work within me and my family. He took me from a place of offering a service of medicine to practicing my faith through the skills he gave me in surgery. Today I serve the Lord through surgery and hope to be able to offer my patients care directed through faith. God has been so good to me and my family and we want to share that through all we do. I can't wait to meet you, get to know you, and help you through whatever surgical problem you're having. When you become one of my patients, you become family.
